RSL World War II Parade - Sat 11 Sep 2010
RSL Parade commences 10.30 am Saturday 11 September in Main Street Rutherglen.
Salute to be taken and march continues to the Memorial Gardens for the Official Opening of the Honour Wall dedicated to all citizens from Rutherglen who enlisted to serve in WWII.
Parade participants include WWII Veterans, National President RSL, RSL State representative, local RSL Members, Area Commander of ALTC, Military Cadets and Murray Brass Band.
Service 11am – midday.
BBQ – Sausage sizzle after service in Memorial Hall car park.
The event will also feature a flyover of a WWII Vintage Aircraft.
